Assistant Manager – Logistics Jobs in Bangalore. The Bear House is hiring an experienced and results-driven Assistant Manager – Logistics for its Bangalore operations. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain operations, vendor management, and e-commerce logistics.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations and ensuring the timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of goods across warehouses, customers, stores, marketplaces, and B2B partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily inbound and outbound transportation activities.
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries according to agreed TAT and SLA requirements.
- Manage transporters, courier partners, and logistics vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance and support freight rate negotiations.
- Identify opportunities for transportation cost optimization and route/load consolidation.
- Monitor dispatch, delivery, delayed, undelivered, and RTO shipments.
- Ensure compliance with POD, invoices, e-way bills, LR/GR, and other logistics documentation.
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly logistics MIS and dashboards.
- Drive process improvements, SOP implementation, and logistics automation.
- Lead the logistics team, allocate responsibilities, and monitor team productivity.
Eligibility & Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Operations.
- Graduate or Post Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong experience in vendor/transporter management and B2B and e-commerce logistics.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, MIS, analytics, ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
- Understanding of GST, e-way bills, and logistics documentation.
- Strong negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
- Experience in apparel, retail, or e-commerce logistics will be preferred.
