Job Overview
Qualcomm India Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst, Associate to join its Global Business and Finance Support (GBFS) team.
The GBFS team supports Qualcomm’s headquarters and global regional teams with Finance and Business Operations, including FP&A, Opex, financial reporting, RF360 support and financial system updates.
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reports, supporting budgeting and monthly closing activities, updating financial systems, conducting financial analysis and working closely with global finance teams.
The role may require late-evening or early-morning calls for reviews, transition activities and coordination with global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial packages and reports.
- Support transactional and analytical finance activities.
- Assist with budgeting and monthly financial close processes.
- Understand key business drivers and provide financial insights.
- Support global teams with financial guidance.
- Conduct financial research and analysis as required by stakeholders.
- Update financial systems with the latest financial data.
- Work closely with global regional teams through regular reviews and transition calls.
- Support process documentation and knowledge transition activities.
- Contribute to finance process automation using AI and other automation technologies.
- Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies and applicable regulations.
- Review processes and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics or a related field.
- MBA in Finance from a reputed business school, or CA/CMA qualification, is preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in Finance and FP&A.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle or other financial systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI and AI-based finance tools is an advantage.
- Flexibility to participate in late-evening or early-morning calls with global teams.

The Global Business and Finance Support (GBFS) team provides finance and business operations support to Qualcomm’s headquarters and global regional teams. The team works across FP&A, Opex, reporting, financial systems and process improvement activities.
